Contribute to OhioJams
AUTHORS & WRITERS ~ BANDS ~ MUSICIANS ~ VENUES ~ EVENTS
OhioJams Music Magazine is seeking contributors and freelance writers!
Contributing writers and authors may choose to:
- Review a new album or EP release by an Ohio-based artist or band
- Review or preview a concert or festival within the state of Ohio
- Write about a substantial experience or experiences in Ohio’s jam-band and music festival scene
- Write a spotlight article about a band, artist or musician based in Ohio
- Contribute to a new Poetry column
Please include:
- 200 to 500 words of grammatically correct text, using spell-check as needed, divided into multiple paragraphs
- Descriptions and depictions of the band(s) and/or artist(s), the songs performed, instrumentation and presentation
- Links to photos of the band(s), artist(s), and/or concert/festival reviewed (writers will have access to upload photos to OhioJams)
- Links to the event and/or band/artist websites, and setlist if applicable
Please do not write about your own band, or an event you are actively organizing or promoting, to ensure objective journalistic integrity without conflict of interest.
